Our Races

As a club we now organise 2 races each year, both managed by volunteers from the Harriers, other local running clubs and friends.

Cloud 9 Hill Race - Sunday 1st March 2026

We have organised this race since 1987. A scenic and challenging mostly off-road 9 mile race from Congleton to the summit of Bosley Cloud (1125ft) and back via the ancient Bridestones (c 2000 BC). We organise this raise in March each year.

Passing Clouds Fell Race - next year's race date TBD

We have organised this June fell race for over 20 years. Starting from Tittesworth, the challenging 10 mile route takes in Ramshaw Rocks, the Roaches and Hen Cloud.
